EDHEC Business School is ranked amongst the top business schools for their different courses. They have events through out the year all around the world to expand their international dimension.
One such event was hosted at the Lille campus -- 'International Journalists Event' for Business Development purposes. Jounalists from India, UK and several other countries came to an on campus tour learning more about France, student life in France and at EDHEC, courses, non-academic life etc.
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. - Norman Vincent Peale"
I call myself a People Person and this was an event that upheld that tag. I was one of the amongst the 3 students chosen to represent the college on the International forefront. It involved not only taking the journalists on the tour but also answering to their queries and questions from a multifaceted viewpoint.
Later that month, a journalist from the popular Indian daily "The Times of India" contacted me to present an article about the school, how I prepared for EDHEC, the career opportunities in France and the advice for the future aspirants.
I wrote the article and it was published in the newspaper . With this, a longtime dream of getting published in the newspaper was crossed off from the bucket list! :-)
