Awarded March 2022 at the Graduation Ceremony (Recognition for 2020 Cohort)

The EDHEC Student Engagement Award is presented to the student from the graduating class who demonstrates exceptional commitment to the core EDHEC values of Impact, Engagement, and Innovation. The award recognizes an all-round contribution to academic excellence, student governance, institutional support, and community development throughout the dual-degree program.

Key Areas of Institutional Impact

Through proactive involvement in the school's governance and external relations, a foundational level of institutional impact was established, ensuring the effective representation of the student body and strengthening EDHEC's external profile.

  • Student Governance & Representation: Served as the elected Class Representative for the 3-year dual-degree program, successfully facilitating communication and bridging the gap between over ~250 students and the faculty/administration team.
  • Strategic Institutional Support: Provided critical student feedback for the school's mandatory Accreditation Renewal Program, a key prerequisite for maintaining its global Triple Crown accreditation.
  • External Ambassadorship & PR: Represented EDHEC during the International Journalists Program visit, offering a valuable student perspective that was subsequently published in one of the major international newspapers like the Times of India.
  • Global Outreach: Leveraged strong interpersonal skills to participate in international Outreach Programs, engaging with potential international candidates to address concerns and support the admissions process.

Digital Innovation & Community Initiative

Beyond formal governance roles, strategic and innovative initiatives were undertaken in the digital space and student life, directly enhancing the student experience and contributing to the school's commitment to innovation and cultural engagement.

  • Digital Project Contribution (MyEDHEC): Utilized an IT background to participate as a stakeholder in the MyEDHEC Shadow Copil Project, providing functional guidance from both a technical and critical end-user perspective to enhance the Single Sign-On platform.
  • Cultural Leadership & Founding Initiative: Led the successful initiative to found the first ever EDHEC India Student Association, promoting international cultural awareness by organizing and celebrating events like Diwali (the Indian festival of lights) at the campus.

Academic Excellence & Peer Support

This comprehensive engagement was underpinned by a commitment to academic excellence and a peer-driven focus on leadership, showcasing an all-rounder profile of success both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Academic Achievement: Maintained top academic standing throughout the three-year program, earning a position on the Dean's List (Top 5%).
  • Peer Mentorship: Provided extensive curriculum and personal support to fellow students, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment within the cohort.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
